03.28: Williams protesting against RBR
toyota drivers to back of grid...
The Williams team has protested the legality of the Ferrari and Red Bull cars following qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. AUTOSPORT understands that Williams's concerns are related to the aerodynamics of the Ferrari F60 and the Red Bull RB5. Toyota's drivers Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli have already been disqualified from qualifying after their car was deemed to contravene the regulations over the rigidity of ist rear wing. They will start the race from the back of the grid. Source: Autosport

[QLF] "This is for sure a good starting point"
said sebastian after a good qualifying
"It’s been a difficult two days leading up to qualifying. I only had the pleasure of completing one lap in the first practice, then I made a mistake in the second, which meant we couldn’t run through our programme. Then we had a failure this morning, which cost us some track time, so it’s been anything but ideal! "Nevertheless, I think we pulled everything together; we’ve been looking deeply at the data and trying to prepare well for qualifying. I think we succeeded, so thanks to everyone. We had a tough winter and I’ve been surprised how close the feeling in the car is to last year. With all the regulation changes it’s impressive what all the people have done - it’s very tight at the front of the grid and all through the midfield. At times we have even wondered if we would make it to Q2, so now we are third on the second row of the grid, I’m looking forward to tomorrow. This is for sure a good starting point.”

[FP2] "I think we can be happy"
said sebastian after second session...
"We had a bad session in this morning's practice and didn't get too much running, due to a hydraulics problem. In the afternoon we were able to get some laps in, but unfortunately I made a stupid mistake towards the end of the practice, so we couldn't run through our programme. "Nevertheless, it's looking alright with what we've done compared to the time we had on the circuit, so let's see how we go tomorrow. Like always on Fridays, it's a bit difficult to interpret everyone's lap times, but I think we can be happy."

from horner and moss...
Some more people mentioned Sebastian in their season previews, and again we are bringing you these quotes. Check them here: Sterling Moss: "Young (Sebastian) Vettel is going to take some beating. I should be very surprised if Webber is up there." Chris Horner: "I think the most significant factor over the second half of last year, and certainly from what we've seen in pre-season testing, was the impact of Sebastian Vettel."
