both positively...
Both Bernie Ecclestone and former Formula One driver John Surtees made some good comments in regard to Sebastian this weekend. Check them: Bernie Ecclestone: "Red Bull could be a big surprise with Sebastian Vettel. Put him in a Ferrari and he'd be as quick as anyone they have got." John Surtees: "Sebastian Vettel is a good example of a real driver. Look at Button instead - frankly, I wouldn't have confirmed him with the team." Sources: Fox + Mirror

[PREVIEW] Mark gives some tips to Seb
on australian lifestyle...
About Music:Mark’s tip for Seb: "Try listening to Kylie mate – she’s better than stars popular in Germany, like Scorpions or David Hasselhoff." About Sport:Mark’s tip for Seb: "Surfing mate. Give it a try. Nothing can go wrong… and, if you’ve got a spare year, I’ll explain the rules of cricket to you." About Food:Mark’s tip for Seb: "It’s very important to grill food at a barbecue. No-one will ever come round to your place if you say: ‘Let’s go and boil sausages and cabbage in a big pan in the garden’." About Fashion:Mark’s tip for Seb: "Thongs mate, you Europeans are crazy - you wear them on your feet, not on your bum." About Healthy:Mark’s tip for Seb: "This is a great city to have a broken leg fixed mate." Source: RBR

03.20: Ecclestone on Seb
in an interview to daily express...
Just like one year ago, Bernie Ecclestone is placing his pre-season bet for the drivers' title on Felipe Massa. Prior to the 2008 season, in which 27-year-old Massa won more races than any other driver and finished one point behind champion Lewis Hamilton, the F1 Chief Executive tipped the Brazilian for the title. In an interview on Thursday with the Daily Express, Ecclestone said: "Red Bull could be a big surprise with Sebastian Vettel. Put him in a Ferrari and he'd be as quick as anyone they have got.” "Brawn are going well too, but my money is going on Felipe Massa again. I don't see why he shouldn't get the job done. He was quick last year but Ferrari cost him the title with their mistakes," Ecclestone added.

03.17: Seb on flights costs cuts
he flies economy class...
The Formula One world is dramatically tightening its belt but most of the top drivers will be unscathed. At tuesday's meeting of the World Motorsport Council, more radical cost cutting is expected to be rolled out by the FIA, including possible budget caps, and further test limits and car standardisations. Formula One teams are also making their own cutbacks, including BMW, who is believed to have radically slashes it's 2009 budget for corporate hospitality. "I know that many in the team have for example had their flights downgraded, and also their hotels. Obviously more attention is being paid to (expenses)," team driver Nick Heidfeld said in an interview with Germany's DPA news agency. However, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has revealed that while he flies economy, "at BMW even the test drivers are in business class!" Heidfeld confirmed: "It doesn't affect me with the flights because my contract states which class I fly." Source: F1SA

[2009 PROJECT] Meet the FanWall!
send a message for the book we'll deliver seb...
Hi you all, Due to the success of the 2008 Fan Project, when we successfully delivered to hands of Sebastian Vettel an album with the pictures sent during Brazilian GP Weekend, we decided to make a bigger thing for 2009. The project already online, at http://fanwall.sebastian-vettel.org The FanWall is a hotsite where you can write Sebastian a message of support. All these messages will be print in a book, to be delivered during Brazilian GP Weekend (unfortunately not last race of year anymore, but the one I can assure it to be delivered right on his hands). In the book messages will be separated by country and printed in order they are sent: who writes first gets the message ahead. This way everyone can tell him something important and whenever he wants to read something from us, he can open book and find it there. The book will also include link to the hotsite, where we will keep a permanent wall (which will remain after project deadline, one week before Brazilian GP). In that wall will stay images sent by fans showing their support (drawings, fans with Sebastian, fans in race with Seb banners or caps, etc). Rules are simple as always, maybe even simplier. You can send messages and images direct from website (no email this time). Messages go online instantly, images under approval (Unnappropriate images will cause a IP block, so don. Hate messages, messages with unappropriate content and duplicated posts will be deleted (yes, each fan can only write once so everyone gets a chance). This book project was already successful at NickHeidfeld.ORG last year with around 150 messages. We want as many people as possible to sign, and with a larger deadline, we hope we can get over 500 messages to Sebastian. That's why telling other people is welcome and thankful. You can easily and quickly post, for free and without needing to registrate, at http://fanwall.sebastian-vettel.org Thanks everyone, Kati Webmiss, www.sebastian-vettel.org Your #1 fansource for everything Sebi!
