09.30: Bandini award for Seb
even with the "hike" in F.1...
Sebastian Vettel has been already adopted by Italians, after his victory with Toro Rosso in Monza. While moving to Red Bull, will have another opportunity to get closer to Italians' fan. He will get Premio Bandini. And, as happened to Kubica this year, will have the opportunity to travel with a F1, road from Faenza (but there are some people who would like to start from Imola circuit ...) to Brisighella, where is the delivery of the award. With him there could be even David Coulthard also in his car. The event should be moved to July.

[RACE] "Maybe fourth might have been possible"
toro rosso race report...
Sebastian Vettel (STR3-03): "Overall, this was a good race for us, even if the Safety Car didn't help. It was a difficult race for everyone, but the important thing is we have scored some more points. The hardest elements in the race were dealing with the heat and concentrating not to make any mistakes, as it could be very easy to clip a kerb.
I tried to keep the car on track but still push like crazy. It was one of the toughest races of the season, but I think with everything that happened, this was the best result we could get. Maybe fourth might have been possible if I hadn't lost a place to Timo (Glock) when I missed a braking point, but we can be happy with this fifth place."

[QLF] "We will be trying to bring points home"
says sebastian, starting 7th tomorrow...
Sebastian Vettel (STR3-03): "It was a very good qualifying for us. In Q2, we were in a comfortable position and only needed to do one run and then in Q3 I think we achieved the maximum we could do today. After experiencing some difficulties yesterday, I did not expect P7, but we did a very good job overnight and we seem to have found the right way forward. I am sure it will be a long and difficult race tomorrow and very hot. We are starting from a points position so we will be trying to bring some home."

[FPs] Sebastian not happy with car yet
toro rosso test notes...
Formula 1’s newest winner Sebastian Vettel says he needs a better car balance if he is to be competitive in Singapore this weekend, after a difficult opening day at the Marina Bay street circuit.

“I’m not happy with my car yet as it feels very loose and I don’t think we will have an easy time,” he said. “So tonight we must work hard to improve it and hopefully make a step forward tomorrow. Visibility is not a problem. Some places are darker than others and it’s good fun.”
