07.05: 'We will deal with whatever comes'
str qualifying notes...
Sebastian Vettel: "I qualified 7th in Indy with BMW, but to be 8th with Toro Rosso means we can be very proud of what we have achieved today. We had a very good balance on the car and all weekend I've felt very confortable even on my first race weekend at this tough and challenging track. It seems we are moving in the right direction with the new car and we have made a step forward. It's fun fighting in the top ten. We should be in good shape tomorrow, whatever the weather and we will deal with whatever comes."

07.04: 'We had a very productive session'
str test notes...
Sebastian Vettel: "Last week's test was the first time I drove this track and I like it, especially the first part with very fast corners and combinations of them. It's good fun and today we had a very productive session, ending up with clear answers on all the things we had on our test list. Therefore we can be quite happy, but now we must analyse what the others did to get a better idea of how quick we are…or how slow! I think we are in a good shape, the balance feels good and I'm happy with that."

Q: A move to Red Bull would be easier than a move to another team?
SV: Yes, I know the boss so that should help!

Q: Is BMW over?
SV: Nothing is over. Never at any time. In Formula One anything can happen. I'm still in touch with them, obviously I know all of them and...

Q: Are you contracted to them?
SV: In terms of contract for F1 no, but outside of Formula One yes. As everybody knows I'm ambassador for BMW but apart from that there is no further agreement.

07.03: David Coulthard retirement confirmed
on today's press conference...
Scottish driver David Coulthard confirmed this afternoon at British GP Press Conference that he'll be retiring from Formula One racing at the end of the current season.

This adds to the rumour Sebastian could possibly replace him on RBR for 2009, which is not yet confirmed.

Good luck for DC for his after-F1 career!
